Ukraine ICIT Reviews Anti-Dumping Measures on Chinese Stainless Steel Pipes

Anti Dumping Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe Imports

ICIT Extends Anti-Dumping Duties Amid Review Process

The Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade (ICIT) initiated a review of anti-dumping measures. This concerns seamless stainless steel pipe imports from China.

The review responds to a national producer request, Centravis, and includes assessments from Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture. Meanwhile, ICIT extended current duties until the review concludes.

The review ensures that potential dumping will not harm Ukrainian manufacturers. In addition, the voluntary price undertaking by Longda Steel Group remains in effect throughout the procedure.

Import Data and Procedural Details

Chinese pipe imports to Ukraine totaled 16.63 thousand tons from January to November 2025. Consequently, these imports represent over 20% of Ukraine’s pipe market.

ICIT has established a 30-day registration period for interested parties and will accept written comments for 60 days. The final decision will depend on the review results and regulatory compliance.

Earlier, ICIT reviewed anti-dumping measures on Chinese steel fasteners after their term expired. Similarly, these reviews aim to protect domestic steel producers from unfair pricing practices.

ScrapInsight Commentary

Ukraine’s extension of anti-dumping duties signals ongoing protection of domestic steel pipe producers. Steel import trends from China will heavily influence pricing. Investors should monitor regulatory updates and market reactions.
