Construction Timeline and Funding Secured
Electra Battery Materials Corp. has approved a $73 million budget for Electra cobalt refinery construction in Ontario. Mechanical completion is targeted for Q2 2027, with commissioning starting in Q4 2026. Meanwhile, the refinery will begin production ramp-up in Q3 2027.
